More decorations have been collecting – with his hit single Stay With Me identified tune of the year at the BMI Awards.

The tear-jerking ballad was the most-performed European or British tune on radio and US TV last year, beating two Ed Sheeran singles – Do Not and Sing.

One is for scoring the most consecutive weeks in the UK top 10 by a debut album, and also the other for recording the first James Bond theme to go to number one.

The vocalist’s been disclosing more about the recording of the Bond theme to get a Radio 1 documentary.

On Friday, we told you about Jack White, who began a challenge to listen to Rick Astley’s hit Never Gonna Give You Up for four days straight while on a sponsored silence.

He was sent a good luck message by Rick Astley himself.

But Jack regrettably had to pull into it from the stunt eight hours after after net trolls hijacked the live feed and assaulted his seven-year-old nephew for whom Jack was fundraising.

Nevertheless Jack’s brother James finished the challenge yesterday and took on the baton.
