Facing criticism that fake news on Facebook helped the rise of Donald Trump, his network has been firmly defended by creator Mark Zuckerberg.
Talking at Techonomy, a technology seminar in California on stage, Mr Zuckerberg said Facebook is not agreed its a fake news.

“The idea that fake news on Facebook influenced the election in any way is a pretty crazy idea,” he said.

“If you believe that then I don’t think you have internalized the message Trump supporters are trying to send in this election.”
